Panel

A panel is a rectangular base plate of a predetermined size. This panel can either contain an arrangement of printed circuit boards or just one printed circuit board (single board with break-off edge).

Panels are often created for manufacturing or economic reasons. Thus, it is for instance possible, to assemble non-rectangular or flex PCBs by machine.
